Welcome to Nadia's World

I am a multi-disciplinary, award-winning UX/UI designer based in Sydney.

I am passionate about solving complex problems by applying a customer-centric approach and crafting effective design solutions to create engaging and impactful digital experiences that improve customers' lives.

I have worked on numerous large-scale end-to-end projects across a range of industries on both client and agency sides. Some of my projects have received prestigious design awards and accolades from fellow designers and clients.

My story

I have always been a creative person, investing my time in art since childhood. When it came to choosing a career path, I aimed for a solid, reliable profession in high demand, which led me to pursue Business Studies at St. Petersburg University of Economics and Finance in St. Petersburg, Russia. Out of all available specialisations, I opted for the most creative one - Marketing & Advertising.

After graduating with Distinction with the Bachelor of Commerce (Hons), Majoring in Marketing, I spent over 10 years working for large national and multinational companies diving deep into the world of Marketing Communications, Advertising, Brand Management and Market Research. Throughout my career, I acquired a lot of valuable skills, including customer-first approach, strong communication, analytical and creative skills.

Following my migration to Australia in 2016, I worked as a Marketing Specialist and Graphic Designer for a renowned Sydney skincare manufacturing company for 5 years until I discovered the field of UX design and immediately fell in love with it.

UX brought together everything I loved and integrated elements from my previous experiences, including research, synthesis & analysis and of course design. I undertook a UX Accelerator program with Brisbane-based consultancy and training provider PeakXD. Completing a real-world project with the non-profit organisation Medicines Sans Frontiers, I earned my UX Foundation Certification from the British Computer Society (BCS), The Chartered Institute for IT in May 2022.

Since January 2022, I have been working as a UX/UI Designer at Switch Digital Agency, where I have gained invaluable experience in all facets of UX and UI, further solidifying my passion for this career path. Working as a primary designer on big-name accounts like Frasers Property Australia, Bridgestone, Tony’s Tyres, Lube Mobile, Housing Industry Association (HIA), Yamaha and others, I have contributed significantly to projects, honing my skills and loving every minute of it. Notably, the Frasers Property Australia corporate website redesign and rebuild project, on which I served as a primary UX/UI Designer, received three prestigious design awards in 2023 and 2024.
